It's Like a Stamp A Story that explains Trauma to Children Trayann experienced a traumatic event. Someone had broken into her home while the family was asleep. She had seen the burgular. Soon, by speaking with a trauma therapist about her feelings and what happened that night, Trayann began feeling much better. This story describes one type of traumatic experience. However, the traumatic symptoms that Trayann experiences are universal, and can follow any type of adversity or traumatic event. This book gives kids explicit insight into what they may be feeling after such an event.
