Psmith, seeking a fresh start, responds to an ad and becomes embroiled in a scheme to steal a diamond necklace for the Hon. Freddie Threepwood. Posing as a Canadian poet at Blandings Castle, he navigates romantic feelings for Eve Halliday while evading the watchful eye of the diligent Baxter. As the plot unfolds, multiple characters at the castle also pursue the coveted necklace, leading to a tangled web of intrigue and humor.
