American Awakening

Más información sobre el libro

We are experiencing an American Awakening devoid of God and forgiveness. The previous Awakenings focused on religious renewal, while the third, spanning 1880-1910, sought political and social change through religion but lost its Christian essence. Today’s Awakening interprets politics through religious lenses without acknowledging God, leading America to a dead end. Identity politics judges individuals based on immutable traits rather than their actions, offering no forgiveness for perceived transgressions, which are deemed irredeemable. Once, liberal politics aimed to foster collaboration for a shared future, but identity politics has transformed it into a sacrificial arena. Currently, the scapegoat is the white, heterosexual man, but after his humiliation, where will the rage of the innocent victims be directed? Will it shift to white women or Black men? Identity politics embodies a form of spiritual eugenics, demanding that pure groups rise while stained groups are purged. If religious revivals aim to redeem a flawed world, then identity politics represents a revival of sorts—this time, without God.
