Más información sobre el libro

This anthology showcases the best work from the 2021 graduates of UEA's Prose Fiction MA, during a year like no other. These graduates had the honour of ushering in the 50th anniversary of UEA's Creative Writing programme - a celebration of half a century of outstanding writers and writing. As the Covid-19 pandemic continued, much of this cohort's learning, workshopping and socialising took place online. Window explores intimacy and interiority alongside the ways in which we look to the world outside for inspiration. Even in 2020-21, when so many of our connections were made through glass, masks or screens, writing helped us to reframe our ways of thinking and being, providing windows others could glimpse through. A champion of innovative literary futures, Ayò. bámi Adébáyò-'s foreword is the perfect entry into this anthology of unique voices, who sought out connection through writing when the world was forced into isolation. The introduction by course convenors Philip Langeskov and Tessa McWatt welcomes readers with the knowledge that in the most difficult of circumstances, writing is more important than ever.
