I wanted to make my own deeply personal thought processes accessible to the world just in case someone out there who is struggling to make sense of their world gets any kind of help or comfort from me attempting to make sense of my world.It’s not a book that needs to be read in any order, it’s just real thought, real things, late nights, tears, notes in my phone from walking, all smashed together to make in some way, something I hope is unique compared to what’s already out there in this genre(poetry? I suppose) but hopefully also relatable and familiar.I want my book to feel like a childhood home that you go back to visit and someone has changed all the furniture around, not in a bad way, but in a like "omg I love this" and "wow I have so many memories here" way.The idea of erasing and navigating trauma by reimagining the past for its beauty and not its pain. A handbook for healing, where every page has the chance to mean something to someone.
