Not My Car is a low level phonics reading book. It covers the consonont diagraphs plus vowels ar, and the high frequency word my. Not My Car covers the first set of basic letters and sounds that students meet in the early stages of a phonics teaching programme. It corresponds to Phase 3 of Letters and Sounds, the UK Government's synthetic phonics programme, but can be used for phonics reading practice to support any phonics programme.
