František Tkadlík. 1786-1840

The first comprehensive monograph about Frantisek Tkadlík, authored by Eva Petrová, was published more than half a century ago. Since then, Tkadlík, a prominent representative of Czech Neo-classical painting of the first half of the 19th century, has been acknowledged as a distinguished figure in the narrative of Czech and Central European fine arts.
