Orte der Reformation - Jena

With its journal series, Orte der Reformation (Places of the Reformation), the Evangelische Verlagsanstalt (Evangelical Publishing House) invites, in view of the forthcoming 500th anniversary of the Reformation, to look out for traces of this major event of world history. Taking the reader on a fascinating and entertaining journey from Lake Geneva to the German Baltic See Coast famous but also lesser-known sites of Reformation history will be presented. First of all, the informative and richly illustrated articles invite to a city tour which in each case is followed by a well-informed and entertaining presentation of the most important events and persons of the Reformation area. The contemporary church life of the respective towns and its regions is presented as well.
