In this whimsical adventure, Commander Vimes of the Ankh-Morpork constabulary is reluctantly drawn into royal duties while investigating an assassination attempt and theft. His quest takes him through the quirky Discworld, filled with trolls, dwarfs, and other fantastical beings, as he seeks to uncover the mystery of a missing elephant.
