The latest incarnation of the Gold Rush has started. Except instead of California, rare minerals have been found in the remote Sahara desert. And instead of individuals, it is attracting a rush of powerful nations. In the dead centre of the chaos are Troy Pearce's closest friend and a mysterious woman from his past.
