Development, under the traditional vision, falls in the middle between training and education. Development can cover the present role or some grooming for future greatness. A cynical view is that we develop managers but trained workers this may be indicative of the lack of latitude, hence the lack of real development potential, in most non-professional and non-managerial jobs.
