I Left My Grandfather's House

Part of the Denton Welch series, this novella recounts a walking tour undertaken by Welch in southern England, while he was a student. It describes his adventures along the way with a sense of nostalgia not only for the pre- war world, but also for the enjoyment of existence in the years before Welch was disabled by a life-threatening accident.
