The Neutral Zone

A lock of mahogany hair casually trailed down her left shoulder as she stood in his office indomitably charming and causally cautious. She was aware she was caught in his web and she was the fly. He looked on fascinated at her nonchalant stance, which would have been convincing if she was stupid enough to be unaware of the danger she may now be facing. Her hazel coloured eyes curious but a one-way mirror, he couldn't read her. What did she know? How could he corrupt her? He smiled as it dawned on him that everyone was for sale in the Neutral Zone and Jane Parker would be no different.
