This two-volume work is the fruit of twenty years' research, looking for photographic landmarks in Paris and its environs, sifting through archives and reading period regimental logs and the memoirs of Resistance members. Only the fighting of the 2nd DB is covered and the authors make no reference to political or resistance matters.
