The Whole Armour of God

This title challenges the pervading negative view of Anglican army chaplains who served in the trenches during the Great War. It seeks to readdress the balance by using the words and actions of the chaplains themselves to show that many strove valliantly to bring the reality of God to the troops in the maelstrom of war.
