Nether Lochaber: The Natural History, Legends, and Folk Lore of the West Highlands

Stewart (1829-1901) was a Scottish minister, scholar, naturalist and writer who under the pen-name Nether Lochaber contributed a fortnightly column to the Inverness Courier over a period of four decades. This collection of some of those articles was first published in book form in 1883 and covers a wide range of topics including folklore, poetry, meteorology and ornithology.
