We live in a world where we are constantly being judged by the colour of our skin... our gender... our faith... our social status. For many, these judgements remain unanswered or unchallenged and they turn the other cheek; their silence giving false authority to continued injustice. The poems within this debut collection aim to inspire the voice within and empower those who feel powerless and have remained silent.
