Orphan Train

Set against the backdrop of the orphan train movement, the story follows Vivian Daly, a young Irish immigrant who experiences the uncertainty of being one of the thousands of abandoned children transported from New York City to the Midwest. As she grows older and settles in Maine, her past remains a distant memory until she uncovers remnants of her turbulent childhood hidden in her attic.
