This work examines the traditional ways in which power has been abused as a tool to dominate others physically, sexually, politically and spiritually. It proposes an alternative path, the hara power, after the ancient Eastern teaching that the hara centre in the stomach is where the soul resides. The hara is also the perfect point of balance between the physical and spiritual worlds.
