Lives of the Necromancers

First published in 1834, this classic work of occult literature is a detailed account of the lives and practices of some of history's most famous necromancers. Godwin provides descriptions of their methods for summoning and communicating with the dead, as well as their supposed powers of divination and prophecy. He also offers his own skeptical analysis of their claims and practices. This edition includes an introduction by occult scholar Donald Tyson.
