Focusing on the emotional experiences of impoverished migrant families, this study highlights the often-overlooked feelings associated with exclusion in contemporary German society. Through ethnographic research with tenth-grade students, it explores a range of emotions and the impact of neoliberalism on the urban post-migrant youth. The work uncovers themes of devaluation and self-assertion, shedding light on the emotional dimensions of their social realities and the transformations they navigate.
