Sid Johnson and the Phantom Slave Stealer

Set against the backdrop of the Underground Railroad, a young boy discovers his family's farm is a secret stop for runaway slaves. As bounty hunters threaten his parents, Sid takes it upon himself to protect them, leading to a series of harrowing events, including the burning of their barn. With the Civil War looming, the family decides to head west, but Sid soon realizes that the fight against slavery is far from over, as he becomes entangled in the mysterious world of the Phantom Slave Stealer along the Santa Fe Trail.
