The Rebel Scribes

Set in 990 AD at Christ Church Priory in Canterbury, the story follows two brothers, Folcwin and Aelfwynn, who have been orphaned by Viking raids. Despite their tragic past, they excel as scribes, navigating the challenges of their environment while uncovering the intricacies of their faith and the world around them.
