Effect of Vermicompost and Fertility Levels on Pearlmillet in Rajathan

The study investigates the effects of varying levels of vermicompost and recommended fertilizer doses on pearl millet yield in Rajasthan. Conducted in a randomized block design, the experiment included sixteen treatment combinations. Results indicated that applying 6 t/ha of vermicompost significantly increased grain yield compared to lower levels. However, key metrics such as dry matter accumulation and harvest index showed little variation across fertility levels. The highest economic return was achieved with 100% recommended fertilizer dosage without vermicompost.
