It introduces a comprehensive framework for understanding language functions and employs an operationalized classification system for research. The author argues that aphasia reflects a multidimensional brain disturbance, exploring its connections to neuropsychological disorders such as memory and visuospatial abilities, while also examining the condition's variations over time.
