The Staff of Ira

On the planet Boldlygo, a desperate race faces extinction and seeks to create a new life form using DNA from various species. Despite their efforts, the results are unsatisfactory until a scientist suggests the need for a female to ensure survival. With all local females infertile, the duo devises a plan to build a ship and embark on a journey to other worlds in search of a viable female. This quest for survival raises questions about identity, reproduction, and the lengths one will go to preserve their species.
