The Romanian KGB

Set during the twilight of communism in Russia and Romania, the story follows Rowland Tymes, who manages the construction of high-tech plants in both countries. Unwittingly transporting top-secret information disguised as gifts, he attracts the attention of the KGB and the Romanian Securitate, leading to his interrogation and imprisonment in Bucharest. His eventual escape back to the UK reveals unexpected encounters, highlighting the allure and peril of business ventures in a politically charged atmosphere filled with intrigue and danger.
