Journey to Nowhere

Set against the backdrop of the 1815 westward expansion, the story follows Remembrance "Mem" Nye and her family as they embark on a daunting journey from Connecticut to the wilderness of western New York. While Mem and her mother view the trip as a venture into isolation, the path is fraught with peril from wild animals, severe weather, and hostile strangers. When Mem becomes separated from her family, she must confront these dangers alone, driven by the hope of reuniting with them.
