The Nexus Between School-Wide Risk Factors and Dropout Rates

Focusing on the relationship between school-wide risk factors and dropout rates, this study examines 355 public high schools in Alabama. Utilizing quantitative research methodologies and existing data, the analysis is conducted at the school level. Descriptive statistical methods are employed to derive frequency distributions, means, and standard deviations, while correlations between risk factors and dropout rates are explored. Additionally, factor analysis and multiple regressions are performed on selected variables to deepen the understanding of the data.
