Reinvention of Edison Thomas

Eddy, a brilliant but socially awkward science enthusiast, struggles with communication and faces bullying at school. His inability to read emotions contrasts with his technical skills, leading to challenges at events like the science fair. After the school crossing guard is laid off, Eddy becomes concerned about safety and invents a traffic-calming device from scavenged parts.
