Firestorm!

Set against the backdrop of a troubled Chicago neighborhood, a twelve-year-old orphan named Poppy survives by pickpocketing until she forms a bond with Justin, a boy from a wealthy family. Their friendship, aided by Justin's lovable pet goat, inspires Poppy to abandon her life of crime and seek acceptance. However, when a costly mishap at Justin's father's jewelry store leads to Poppy being unjustly accused, she runs away, finding herself caught in the chaos of the Great Chicago Fire.
