Parasite Planet

Set in the late 21st century on Venus, the story follows Hamilton 'Ham' Hammond, an American trader whose home is destroyed, prompting him to journey to the settlement of Erotia. Along the way, he clashes with Patricia Burlingame, a British woman who accuses him of poaching. Their conflict takes a backseat when a Doughpot, a menacing blob of plasma, threatens their lives. As they navigate their tumultuous relationship and the dangers of their environment, Ham grapples with feelings of guilt and the consequences of their actions.
