The Oyster Man

The story follows Kodzo, a Ghanaian man born dramatically in a canoe on the Volta River, which grants him unique powers and a magnetic charm. While admired by some, he also faces intense resentment. His life takes a perilous turn when he engages in an affair with the daughter of Tobge, a powerful chief, and Dr. Hoffman, a German scientist, putting him in a dangerous position that tests his perceived immunity to harm.
