Lavender Blue

Set in 1962 Belfast, the story follows four nursing students—Rhian, Aideen, Isobel, and Deely—who navigate the challenges of rigorous training while forming deep friendships and experiencing romantic entanglements. Rhian's relationship with an older man creates tension, while Aideen harbors a secret that complicates her fun-loving nature. Isobel faces pressure from her disapproving mother regarding her love life, and Deely confronts her own regrets, leading to an early departure. Ultimately, they emerge from their trials with hopes for the future, despite the bittersweet end of their time together.
