Hacking IoT

Focusing on the gap in targeted training for IoT penetration testing, this master's thesis develops specialized hacking challenges aimed at entry-level learners. It emphasizes critical aspects like hardware examination and the analysis of wireless protocols such as WLAN and Bluetooth, which are often overlooked. The challenges created for Hagenberg University’s IoT lab address realistic security vulnerabilities, blending theoretical knowledge with practical skills to enhance students' understanding of IoT security.
