The Psycho-physiological Effects of Music

Exploring the intersection of rhythm and health, this study investigates how auditory stimuli influence heart rate and cardio-respiratory regulation. Building on Kircher's early theories, the author conducts experiments to analyze subjects' responses to rhythmic acoustic stimuli, including the role of bio-feedback in heart rate adaptation. Accompanying questionnaires delve into personal factors such as musical preferences and anxiety, aiming to enhance understanding of the psycho-physiological mechanisms at play in these interactions.
