Focusing on the act of remembering, this book explores how Vietnamese women navigate loss and identity within the context of diaspora. Through in-depth oral narratives from forty women, it examines themes such as family memories, the importance of homeland, and the complexities of cross-cultural relationships. By applying memory and trauma theories, it sheds light on intergenerational tensions and the silence surrounding trauma among Vietnamese refugees. This study offers valuable insights into the broader experiences of the Vietnamese diaspora and refugees.
