Fading

Set in Woodvine, North Carolina, the story follows seventeen-year-old Leath Elliott, a competitive shooter coping with her father's tragic death. Her close friendship with Victor Santana begins to shift as he develops romantic feelings for her. Complicating matters further is James Turner, a mysterious newcomer with a troubled history, who captures Leath's attention and dreams. The narrative explores themes of friendship, love, and the challenges of moving on from loss.
