Focusing on atmospheric corrosion, this study examines metals like iron, copper, steel, and aluminum across eight diverse locations. It reveals that iron and copper experience the highest corrosion rates, while aluminum shows the least. Maddilapalem is identified as the most corrosive site, with Rushikonda, Gajuwaka, and Kancharapalem following. The findings highlight the impact of environmental pollution on metal degradation and offer valuable insights for developing alternative strategies or control measures to mitigate corrosion in specific locations.
