Matters Of The Heart is a sequel to Chinaberry Trees Forever and will fulfill the need for those who read the first book and wanted to know the 'rest of the story'. The setting is southeastern North Carolina, mainly Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach, and is a touching story of undying love and never-ending faith that will warm the heart and bring a tear to the eye. Marie had loved Walt for more than forty years. Through many trials and tribulations her faith seldom wavered and she held on to the idea that someday, somehow, they would be reunited. Readers will both, laugh with Marie and cry with Marie, and at times, rejoice with her, and may even find themselves praying with her. The story reaffirms the old adage that 'hope springs eternal' especially when in comes to - matters of the heart.
