From Russia With Love

The fall of the "Iron Curtain" and the increased immigration marked an unprecedented rise of Russian speaking enclaves within American society. Yet even living side by side each community remains generally unfamiliar with many cultural icons and treasures of the other. This book of poetry is written for both the English and the Russian speaking reader with the goal of increasing the mutual understanding and appreciation of each culture, which is reflected in the name of the book. The book can also serve as a valuable resource for the faculty and the students of the Departments of Slavic Languages and Literatures at numerous US universities.
