Chemical dependency and its denial are central to one of society's most pressing issues, affecting us now and likely into the future. Common strategies for addressing this problem include Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), and Gamblers Anonymous (GA). While the disease is incurable, it can be managed through these twelve-step programs. After entering an advanced substance rehab program in 1985, I discovered a more effective approach from a neurological perspective and developed a copyrighted Super 7-Step Program that outperforms traditional methods. Many medical professionals are unaware of this alternative. I am Robert E. Bunyard, MS, also known as Cowboy Bob, a former Grand Canyon tour guide. As a baby boomer, I served as a psychologist in the US Army, where I faced the difficult task of notifying families of fallen soldiers. After my military service, I earned an MS in counseling and worked as a prison counselor, high school guidance counselor, and licensed drug abuse counselor. Following a brief marriage, I spent six years as a rodeo cowboy before entering a drug rehab facility. Later, I worked as a coach driver in San Antonio.
