Far from home and in search of peace, Leah embarks on a journey to facilitate healing in both her private and public life. An unexpected love story set in tomorrow's Jerusalem. In this hopeful rendition of a Palestinian-Israeli future, Leah's choices ripple through time effecting all that she loves. But love is only the beginning as Leah discovers her power and begins to take up space in both her love life and her community. As a Black Jewish woman, she navigates life differently than her partners and hopes to pass on her wisdom to her ever-curious children. We watch as her untraditional family of six grows to navigate their mixed identities and lean into trusting one another in order to live up to their birth names. At the same time, we see the communities around them begin their parallel healing journey as they build that same level of trust. All of this takes place against a backdrop of an imagined future where technology facilitates collective healing and restores what has been missing: hope.
