By the Year of the Turkey, the remaining denizens of our planet had become identifiable. The accelerated evolution of these beings has slowed to an almost normal pace and many new life forms, heretofore unknown, populated the earth. Only a few decades earlier, man's tinkering with the origins of life had finally precipitated a biological holocaust, an awesome, living upheaval.
