Upon completion, on a Department of State Thomas Jefferson fellowship, of his dregree programs (very high honors), Rudolf was puzzled by the increasing devastation wrecked on both human lives and national economies around the world by antibiotic resistance. He then embarked on researching the why and how of the phenomenon, with the goal of finding a solution to this century-old challenge. Fifteen years of research and investigation later, using a singular, comprehensive, and daringly original approach, his discovery of the three Laws of Biological Resistance along with multiple additional results not only unravel the multiple errors we have been making over the past 100 years in our attempts to understand and subdue the antibiotic resistance threat, they also give the solution required for the successful resolution of the resistance threat in medicine, in agriculture, and in other settings of resistance activity by biological organisms, not the least of which is human relationships.
