Swan Summer

A true and touching story about some children, who befriend a family of swans, on the River Thames. They watch an adorable cygnet hatch and grow, calling him Skedadally, because he waddles over and eats crumbs from their hand. As the months pass, they come to realise that life on the river is no picnic. There are many dangers facing young birds.
