The story also tells of the methods organized crime used to infiltrate the U.S. financial industry, using the fictional Marcello crime family as an example. The book ends at the dawn of the 21st century, after a struggle over strategy between the current Chairman and his son is resolved. It''s got mini-history lessons, politics, blackmail, murder, interesting characters and a little sex thrown in. There are a number of parallels to the real world. The author has over thirty years experience working on Wall Street and Devonshire Street, as well as, being a banker, U.S. Navy Lieutenant and African big game hunter.
