This report shows the calculation memory for the pre-dimensioning of the hydraulic structures (intake, adduction, conduction and discharge) of a Small Hydroelectric Power Plant (SHP), located in the department of Antioquia, in the sub-basin of the river or water source under study, which is of the "run-of-the-river" type.Hydroelectric Power Plant (SHP), located in the department of Antioquia, in the sub-basin of the river or water source under study, which is of the "run-of-the-river" type. For this purpose, topographic, hydrological and technical aspects were taken into account. The pre-dimensioning was carried out using fluid mechanics and hydraulics techniques,supported by primary and secondary information (topographic and hydrological). Hydrological studies were started by estimating average, minimum, maximum and environmental flow rates. Then, the company's design area defined the location of the catchment and discharge works in order to make the hydraulic utilization layouts and select the most technically optimal in terms of generation capacity and percentage of total losses. Then, the calculation for the pre-dimensioning of the hydraulic structures of the selected alternative was completed.
