Everything started to change at home during the war in Vietnam, remembered by Caitlin Rosen as a heady, tumultuous, ruinous time for her, her husband and his best friend, a local golden boy who'd come back to his native south only to find he was turning to brass after a chance encounter with a woman of whom he knew nothing more than that she was in deep trouble.
