The Emperor's New Clothes There was once a king who liked nothing more than dressing up. He spent a lot of money getting new clothes for himself. Soon, his minister got worried. He devised a plan and invited two weavers who would weave the most beautiful clothes for him. The only catch was that the clothes that the weavers weaved could be seen only by the intelligent. Emerald and the Gems Emerald was the most stunning mermaid in the ocean. Though she was very pretty, she was also very vain. The other mermaids did not like Emerald at all. One day, Emerald overheard the other mermaids talking about a shipwreck in the deep parts of the ocean.
